Welcome to Minotaur Class

We are the year six pupils.

Our teaching staff are Mrs Gough and Mrs Dawes. 

Welcome, pupils and parents/carers, to HT5 in Year Six!

Here we are entering the final term of primary school! For this topic, we have entered a world of pure imagination as we have stepped into our new topics, The Mayans. As well as learning all about this fascinating civilisation, the pupils will be completing ‘Operation Chocolate’, during which they will design, make and evaluate their very own chocolate bars. It’s certainly going to be a busy but marvellous half term!                

Snack

The children will receive free fruit in the afternoon. If your child would like a snack at first break time then please send the money on that day. Prices are below:

School Uniform

At Gateford Park, the uniform consists of white polo shirt (with or without logo), black or grey skirt/pinafore or trousers, blue gingham dresses, blue sweater or cardigan (ideally with logo). Children should wear black school shoes with school uniform, NOT trainers. Jewellery should be kept to an absolute minimum for safety reasons and because valuable items can be easily lost. Necklaces, bracelets, rings and dangly earrings are not to be worn. 

PE

For PE, please ensure that your child has a plain white t-shirt (with or without logo) and plain black or navy blue shorts/joggers/leggings, with appropriate footwear (trainers or plimsoles). We have spare shorts and t-shirts in school for those who forget or who come to school in the incorrect kit. No jewellery should be worn on PE days.  Our PE day is Wednesday. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on these days.
