Story Writing and Diary Entries
This half term in English we will be exploring two Fiction texts: 'Vlad and the Great Fire of London' and 'Toby and the Great Fire of London'. We will look at these stories in close detail and work towards planning and writing a variety of different texts including: a story with a familiar setting, a diary entry and an information text.
In Guided Reading we will be looking at the Non-fiction text 'The Great Fire of London: 350th Anniversary of the Great Fire of 1666'. Where we will be furthering our knowledge on the Great Fire of London and working on our comprehension skills and expanding our vocabulary knowledge as well as much more.
