Today you are going to be having a go at writing your own Haiku poems, linked to 'The Catch' and/or the rainforest.
First of all, watch the video below for information about what a Haiku is and how to write one.

When you have watched the video, use the sheet to help remind you of the structure and then have a go at writing your own Haiku poems. You could choose to write one about the rainforest, or a creature that you would find in the rainforest or linked to the story of 'The Catch'. Remember that they don't need to rhyme!
Try to write 2 each and then send a picture of them to your portfolio, or even type them onto your portfolio.
