The learning focus for today’s English activity is direct speech. If you need to refresh your memory about the success criteria for using speech, read through the PowerPoint below and use the speech rules picture below (also on your document!) to help you check your writing.
I would like you to write a short conversation between Toki and the chameleon that would take place between 3:00-3:43 of the clip. What do you think that they would say to each other at this part of the story? When you have done that, use the rules to check your work, then upload a picture of your work to your portfolio.
