Welcome to Elf Class!

Summer 2 - Dinosaurs

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the final half-term in Elf Class. Where has this year gone?

This half term our topic is all about Dinosaurs.

For elves who will no longer be with us in September, you will receive a Record of Achievement for your child, at the end of term. This is to accompany all of the Evidence Me observations we have sent to you throughout the year.

If your child is an elf who will be continuing with us in September, there is a Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 7th July to discuss your child’s progress. You should have already received a text message with instructions for how to sign up for this.

Reminders:

  • Please make sure that all clothing and belongings are named, including shoes and water bottles.
  • Please make sure your child has a bag of spare clothes on their peg.
  • As we are now in the summer term please ensure your child has a sun hat with them every day and that sun cream has been applied before they arrive. If your child attends for full days, we can reapply sun cream at lunch time, if necessary (please provide a named bottle of cream, to be kept in your child’s bag)
  • Please continue to send your child with a coat, unless we are experiencing a period of very hot weather.
  • Snack money (10p per session) to be paid directly to a member of Elf Class staff.
  • Lunch club money (£2 per day) to be sent in a sealed envelope with child’s name, amount included and ‘lunch club’ clearly written on the front (we will pass this on to the office)

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to come and see us.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year.
