On Saturday 22nd June 2013, the Gateford Girlies completed the 5K Race for Life at Clumber Park, aiming to raise £500 for this worthwhile charity. Well done Mrs. Blyth, Mrs. Hibbert, Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Norton, Mrs. Ellis and Mrs. Blackman. Go Team GP!
The children in Dragon and Phoenix Classes are hoping to have some new neighbours soon...
Yesterday, they spent all day working with Mr. Blackman to build this luxurious Minibeast Mansion for our new wildlife area. The children thought about the kinds of habitats that our smallest neighbours like and created a home for them all to live in harmony. We'll soon see if their hypotheses are correct!
Now we will wait to see who moves in! The children will change the materials from time to time to see who else we can encourage to move in!
Our thanks go to Mr. Blackman for giving his time to help the children to build the Minibeast Mansion. Well done, everyone!
