Elf

Welcome to Elf Class!

This half term our whole-school topic is Dinosaurs! We will be learning about different dinosaurs, excavating dinosaur bones, exploring dinosaur swamps and even having a visit from a giant technological dinosaur as part of one of our themed weeks! We will also learn about stories including Dinosaurs Love Underpants and The Very Dirty Dinosaur. There will be lots of exciting learning happening! Please see our overview for more details.

We go outside in all weathers so please ensure children bring a sun hat and sun cream for outdoor play. Please remember sun cream must be applied before school. We will reapply to children who attend school all day, as necessary.

We are encouraging the children to be independent and put on their own shoes and socks so this is something they can practise at home. We practise this every week in PE.

The library bus comes to school once a month, If your child is a member of the library they can bring their library card and choose a new book when the library bus comes.
