Clive Jervis - Co-opted Governor

My name is Clive Jervis.  I have been a Staff Governor at Gateford Park since the school opened in February 2000. When I retired from my position as Caretaker at the school in December 2010, I was invited to become a Community Governor.

I am a member of the Finance and Pupils and Personnel Committee, and also the Premises Committee.

I am a retired Police Officer, having served for thirty years in the Metropolitan Police.  I have served in many branches, including Foot Duty at Bow Street Police Station, in the Traffic Division as an Advanced Driver and Advanced Motorcyclist, in The Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Branch, and on the Bomb Disposal section of the Anti-Terrorism branch.

I am currently working as an Examination Invigilator at Portland School.

I bring to the Governing body my experience and knowledge gained in the Police service, and in my employment as Caretaker for 10 years at Gateford Park.
